Books! Books! Books!
Fri 28 Sep 2018Our 2 day book event has been a huge success as it is every year. All classes have attended a workshop about Africa and learnt about traditions and customs and shared stories from Africa.
The books on sale are excellent quality and value and it's lovely to see so many children browsing and buying books. Any commission we earn will be used to buy more books for the classrooms and library to support our topics. Thank you for your support.

Welcome to the new School Year
Tue 11 Sep 2018Welcome back to the Academic Year 2018-19.
I hope that everyone had a good summer.
It has been wonderful to see all of the children back in school looking smart in their uniforms and ready to learn. The new Reception children have also made a positive start and we welcome new families to the school community.
A very important reminder that good attendance at school is crucial to your child's social, emotional and academic success. Punctuality is also a life skill that we should be teaching our children from a very young age so please arrive at school on time. Late arrival causes missed learning, disruption to the office staff and to the teaching staff as well as being unsettling for the children.
As your child is settling into their new classes remember that if you have any queries or concerns the class teacher will be happy to meet with you before 8:50am or after school. You can also leave a message for them to contact you with the staff on the doors in the morning or at the school office.
I look forward to seeing many of you around school in the coming weeks.
