Looking at Equality
Year 5 took part in an unusual P.E. lesson. Paul Hunt, Disability co-ordinator from West Bromwich Albion, encouraged the children to consider how it felt to be blind, using blindfolds and guiding each other round the hall. He then showed how disability is not a hindrance to sport participation and the children passed the specially adapted footballs to each other before ending the session with a blind penalty shoot out.
