    Dear Parents

    URGENT MESSAGE:PARKING

I have been contacted by concerned local neighbours and by some of our own parents about the way some parents are parking their cars at the end of the day. They have also sent photos of vehicles parked dangerously.

I repeatedly ask parents to park with consideration and care, but some parents seem to think that this request does not apply to them. They think that if a member of school staff isn't there to ask them to move , they can 'get away with it'

Parking on zigzags, on yellow lines, on corners and across dropped kerbs where people need to cross with pushchairs, young children and mobility vehicles is nothing short of selfish and stupid. If one of our Woodgate children gets injured because of this situation, it will be one of our own community that will be responsible and that does not bear thinking about.

So, once again, I am appealing to parents to consider others, to do the right thing and to park safely at drop off and collection times.
