Vision and Values

Our Vision

Our vision is for all who work, learn and visit here to be happy, hardworking and successful.

We aim to provide a secure, exciting and challenging learning environment, focussed on raising attainment for all.

We want our children to be curious, articulate, confident, independent and resilient; achieving their full potential in all aspects of the curriculum and their life.

The school community promotes, demonstrates and upholds our school values and those of modern Britain.

It is important that our children are recognised and rewarded for displaying our school values and ethos. This is done in many ways such as awarding C.A.R.R.O.T awards (for Courtesy and Respect) and our VIPA awards  - Very impressive Pupil Award. We also come together to celebrate pupil achievements each week and award house points and good behaviour certificates as well as good work certificates. Student leader lanyards are awarded each week and worn by a child in each class that demonstrates the school values and acts as a role model for their peers.

Our Vision and Values

At Woodgate, our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens. Key documents and definitions of our vision and values can be found below.
