The School Day

The school day begins at: 08:45

Morning Break is between: 10:30 - 10:45

Lunchtime is between: 12:15 - 13:15

The school day ends at: 15:15

Homework

There are three homework expectations in Year 5 for each week: read twice a week and record these reads in their Reading Diary, weekly spellings and maths.

New spellings will be sent home on a Friday for testing the following Friday.

One piece of maths homework will be sent home on a Friday for the following Friday.

This can be submitted to the homework tray at any time before the Friday.

Year 5 Extra Curricular Activities

Year 5 have had the opportunity to access lots of before and after school clubs:

  • Animated Movie Club
  • Gardening Club

We have used lots of colour and details with paint, felt pens and textures. She is the kindest witch who invites animals she meets along the way to join her on a broomstick ride. Use the talk cards and answer the questions.

We have been enjoying the outdoors for School Ground Week!
